Black Friday this year will land on November 25th, the day after Thanksgiving, per the old-timey tradition. And Cyber Monday 2022, the newer—but just as chaotically good—Thanksgiving shopping holiday will fall on November 28th. Memorize these dates before the holiday spirits start overwhelming you.

When Will Amazon Black Friday 2022 Deals Start?

Amazon’s a bit all over the place this year: Not only is there going to be a Black Friday on Amazon in November, but the site will also host its own Black-Friday-level savings event, titled Prime Early Access Sale—or, in layman’s terms, Prime Day Two, or Fall Prime Day—on October 11th and 12th. We can assume that Amazon’s new Prime-members-only event is meant to help consumers who want to sidestep the Black Friday madness by shopping holiday deals earlier than ever (but more likely, they’re just trying to end the year with yet another record profit. Good for them.)

Either way, we don’t know to which sales event these early Amazon Black Friday deals belong—the real one or the Prime-Day one—and there’s no effective method of measurement for us to predict when exactly those millions of bona fide Black Friday sales will start hitting the retailer’s digital shelves. But one thing is for sure: Black Friday shopping has already commenced at Amazon.
